How to switch between PADS releases

Solution

; Y7 ~0 }. ^' a/ H6 N L, C7 zThe recommended approach is to always install PADS releases into the same target location (by default C:\MentorGraphics). By doing so the only step to switch releases is to run the "MGC SDD Configurator" from the Start Menu ("Mentor Graphics SDD" folder).

In cases where PADS releases are installed to different installation targets, there is an additional step required to successfully switch releases. Follow the instructions below.
