1.Schematic-to-PCB synchronization原理图PCB同步设计
0 k4 c- H$ P. i( H               One of the key ingredients to an efficient design process is maintaining design synchronization. This can be a challenge, particularly if different people are working     on the  schematic and PCB designs simultaneously. For this to be viable and effective, the design software must allow you to quickly identify and resolve differences, in a controlled manner. Ideally the software should not only support pushing changes from schematic to PCB or from the PCB back to the schematic, it should also cater for the situation where some schematic changes need to flow through to the PCB, while other PCB changes are pushed back to the schematic - altium Designer supports this simultaneous, or bi-directional synchronization.The ability to detect, locate and record differences, and then quickly resynchronize design documents is a core feature of Altium Designer.

For any process that allows the software to change the design, Altium Designer uses Engineering Change Orders. Whenever any process such as updating the board or re-annotating the schematic is peRFormed, Altium Designer will list each change in an ECO list. ECO lists can be saved if traceability is required

8 H1 g  n1 Y1 _' h( G# ^The comparator checks against an extensive list of potential differences, including component, net, parameter and object differences. It also includes a sophisticated nodal net checking algorithm that does not rely on matching nets by name alone. Comparator settings are stored with the project, ensuring consistent checking every time the project is worked on.

Rather than recording every edit the designer makes, and then replaying them to update other design documents, Altium Designer uses a powerful comparator engine to detect any differences between the schematic and the PCB. The logical comparator detects changes to components and connectivity. Beyond comparing a schematic to its PCB, it can be used to check for differences between one revision of a board against another, a netlist and a PCB, two schematic sheets, and so on.

Complimenting the logical comparator, the physical comparator can detect physical differences between design files. Now you can easily detect changes to PCB routing or component placement, or the reorganization of wiring on a schematic sheet.

In Altium Designer, the schematic to PCB cross probing has improved.You can now cross probe on any object, from a component, a pin, a net (both named and unnamed) or a bus. You can also decide to either remain in the source document and continue cross probing, or jump to the target by holding the Ctrl key.$ ?% V. s% J4 _! k- ?3 U. O
             2.Cross Select Mode* N  l1 e: Z1 w# c) O" t) w
The traditional cross probe capabilities have also been backed up by a new Cross Select Mode – components on the PCB are automatically selected as you select them on the schematic. You can use this when you need to work between the schematic and PCB focusing on multiple components, for example when you are building up a selection of components in the PCB ready for placement.

3 d! O7 {; @8 a, S* MThe Navigator panel presents all components and nets in the entire design – you simply click to jump to and highlight. As well as being able to jump to and highlight in the schematic, by holding the Alt key you can simultaneously highlight the same object(s) on the PCB, including a pin, component, net or bus.

             Multi-layer boards are the norm today, and so is the need to maximize the areas of solid copper on the board. Altium Designer's new solid polygon mode builds copper pours out of efficient polygonal-shaped copper region objects. Solid polygons behave in the same way as filled polygons, obeying all relevant clearance and connect style design rules.

The new polygonal Solid Region object can be placed on any layer. You can use them to create complex copper shapes in a component footprint, special layer-specific keepouts on a routing layer, or a special shape required on a silkscreen layer. . i* E9 }0 o: `& [3 B
            2.New Solid Polygon Pour # ?6 E8 [) J, K# S5 N
Each continuous area of copper within a solid polygon is defined as a copper region, and is output using Gerber polygon primitives. This can significantly lower the size of the PCB file and the generated output files, and decrease file load and save times. Existing hatched polygon pours can easily be converted to solid polygons by changing their mode and re-pouring them.Copper ‘pours’ automatically, observing all rules and wrapping around all placed objects, including arcs and non-orthogonal shapes. Polygons can be repoured around new obstacles and you can redefine the connected pad relief styles at any time. While you are working you can even shelve polygons to temporarily hide them, allowing for fast and efficient PCB editing.$ u* W; u. p& h$ J: x
            3.PCB rule scoping system

There are many conflicting demands placed on the board designer, keeping tabs on these while achieving a high-quality PCB layout is no longer a matter of placing the parts and joining the dots. Signal quality must be maintained, assembly and test requirements must be factored in, on top of fitting the parts into the unusual board shape and routing it. These demands can only be achieved by a flexible yet powerful PCB design rule system.
( w/ w- C( e1 ~9 s+ v/ NAltium Designer's new rule system removes any barriers to defining any rule requirement. Rule priorities are controlled by the designer, and rules are scoped by a filtering query, ensuring that any and every design requirement can be met.: U" A! F+ E+ p& n0 h
           4.Polygon Pour Cutouts and Regions

You can create ‘blowouts’ in polygons with the new polygon cutout object. Complex cutout shapes can be created with the new polygonal cutout, in either traditional hatched polygon or the new solid polygon.2 |8 \+ |2 K8 n, M5 M9 Y! }
          5.Split Plane Support ; X: U# n- h1 Q, Q
Defining split planes is now much easier in Altium Designer, with full support for fully nested split regions and automatic pullback of a user-specified amount. The net analyzer automatically detects if a thruhole object on a net is isolated by a plane-splitting primitive, ensuring integrity of your split planes at all times.) H5 a) q8 n5 v% z( u  }0 k! p
